Role Description:
We are a small business with a tight-knit community looking for a part-time physical therapist to join our team with the potential to become full-time. We offer one-on-one, 1 hour physical therapy sessions and semi-private strength training. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with an active population (runners, barbell athletes, team sports players, dancers, etc). Our mission is to create a safe space for people to learn about movement and pain, and cultivate a community where people can support, challenge, and celebrate each other in a positive, inclusive environment. Qualifications:
Ability to apply clinical knowledge to diverse patient presentations. Demonstrates expertise in rehabilitation, including treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, and functional training. Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, emphasizing safety, empathy, clear communication, and cultural sensitivity. Ability to design and monitor Home Care programs that support continuity of therapy outside the clinic. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in New York. Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Experience in outpatient or sports/orthopedic settings is preferred. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a part-time schedule effectively.
