This is a paid, in-person position supporting a New Faculty Program research project on chronic dizziness. Project Overview Selected RAs will collaborate on a research project on Chronic Dizziness. Responsibilities include operating laboratory equipment, collecting data, monitoring participant safety, assisting with final research reports, and contributing to manuscript preparation.
Position Details
Location: Conroe, TX
Department: Kinesiology or Health Sciences (preferred)
Commitment: 10 hours weekly, in person Project Period: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027
Key Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong writing skills for research reporting
  • Experience with data collection
  • Skills in data cleaning and management
  • Ability to work independently, manage project timelines, and produce written research summaries
  • Other Requirements for the Position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with computer coding to support data analysis and programming troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with operating equipment such as eye tracking, force platforms, motion capture, and EMG recording systems.
