Job Details: Location: Near Summertown, TennesseeStart Date: Immediate, ongoing through 2025
Schedule: Clinic hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMHospital coverage: 24/7 availabilityCall: Yes, including nights and weekendsPatient Load: Clinic: Approximately 8 patients per dayHospital: 1-3 patients per shiftAge Range: Pediatric patients (0-18 years)
Key Responsibilities: Provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric surgical careCover scheduled clinical hours plus on-call responsibilitiesPerform a wide range of surgical procedures, including: General and laparoscopic surgeriesTrauma surgeriesNeonatal and pediatric-specific surgeries such as appendectomy, hernia repairs, and intestinal surgeriesCollaborate with a supportive team including pediatric anesthesiologists and intensivists Requirements: Board Certification: Required or Board EligibleFellowship: Fellowship-trained in Pediatric SurgeryCertifications: PALS and BLS requiredLicensing: Must be licensed in Tennessee or eligible for IMLC Benefits: Travel and lodging accommodations providedTemporary hospital privileges available for quick onboardingSupport staff in both clinic and hospital settings, including nurse practitioners and medical assistantsIf youre interested in contributing to a high-quality pediatric surgery program in a scenic area of Tennessee, apply today!
