Job DescriptionNOW HIRING: OPTICIAN / SALES ASSOCIATEMiles & Tisch Eyecare is a busy, established optometry practice in Midtown Manhattan’s Theater District, and we’re looking for an experienced Optician / Sales Associate to join our team. Monday–Friday | Manhattan
What You’ll Do:
- Work directly with patients from check-in through eyewear selection
- Help patients choose the right frames and lenses for their needs
- Sell prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Review VSP, EyeMed & Davis Vision benefits with patients
- Perform pre-testing and patient screening
- Register and update patients using OfficeMateHelp maintain a clean, organized, professional office environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Optical or optometry experience
- Strong knowledge of frames, lenses & vision plans
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Comfortable with computers and OfficeMateProfessional, dependable and personable
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
