About the role
- Retrieve vendor invoices and check requests from multiple A/P e-mail accounts.
- Sort and distribute department mail.
- Scan, review and route vendor invoices.
- Review vendor statements and research in system.
- Review and research collection notices for accuracy.
- Maintain filing for preliminary notices, contracts, and A/R progress billings.
- Create job folders for new jobs.
- Update and maintain job listing in MS Excel.
- Coordinate MasterCard statements: Receive statements and review for missing receipts. Update MS Excel spreadsheet and send email reminders to cardholders and file accordingly.
- Check Distribution: Sort and distribution for check signatories and review pre-signed checks.
- Mail subcontractor and vendor checks
- Technical Skills And Knowledge Required
- Intermediate computer skills require using MS Office with proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).CMiC and Timberline experience is desirable.
- Adept in learning new software quickly in order to navigate, review, track and upload various documents.
- Type minimum of 60wpm.
- Attention to detail in composing, writing, typing and proofing materials with error free results.
- Working knowledge of current office technologies and usage
- Required Education And Work ExperienceAA degree in accounting or related field with 3-5 years' experience in an accounting role.
