Become a Key Player as a Business Team LeaderYou will lead a multi-disciplinary, customer-focused business team to deliver program objectives and ensure contract and schedule commitments are met. You will influence cross-functional priorities and work closely with Program Management, Contract Administration, Customer Service, and external customers. Onsite at a manufacturing division site. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamLead project teams overseeing complex government contracts and ensure consistent approaches and alignment across programs. Define projects and outcome measures for cross-functional teams tied to major business programs. Establish and implement tactical and operational plans to achieve division objectives. Serve as the customer-to-company liaison on program performance and respond to significant customer inquiries. Direct development of major proposals and participate in contract negotiations impacting sales and earnings. Provide program status reporting, identify and resolve potential problems, and ensure contractual and schedule compliance. Advise site staff on program performance and contractual obligations; set priorities across multiple projects. Lead process improvements, training, and rollout efforts to institutionalize changes. Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, program management, or a similar discipline. Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in program management, business development, or manufacturing operations. Four or more years of team and project leadership experience with advanced planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and relevant government contracting regulations and clauses. Proficiency with program management concepts, tools, risk management, earned value techniques, and critical path analysis. Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to identify high-risk contract terms. Strong financial acumen related to project cost and budgetary planning/control. Proficiency with standard software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP), project management, and database analysis tools.
