About the role
High volume, Tier automotive plant in eastern TN has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. Ideal candidate will have BS degree (in a technical discipline) along with at least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role. Experience in Tier 1 automotive is REQUIRED. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure IATF 16949 compliance, and will also design Quality systems and conduct product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team. This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have strong communication skills as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important. This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team. Compensation is highly competitive with strong benefits package. Relocation assistance is AVAILABLE.
