Position Overview: We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to join St. Louis Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP-CF will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services to students with communication difficulties affecting speech, voice, fluency, and/or language. Qualifications/Initial Requirements
  • Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
  • SLP-CF candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to provide speech and language assessment and intervention services.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and student-support skills.
  • Must be available for an in-person assignment.
  • Must complete standard compliance requirements, including a fingerprint background check.
  • Experience with SIS and Accelify documentation/billing systems is a plus.
  • Laptop provided by the school district.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Identify students with communication difficulties.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments.
  • Provide prevention and remediation services.
  • Address communication needs involving speech, voice, fluency, and language.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support students' participation in the general education curriculum.
