About the role

Apple Box Studios is a boutique advertising agency and creative management firm in Pittsburgh, PA, seeking an Entry-Level Graphic Designer to join our creative team. We’re looking for a designer with a strong eye for visual communication, attention to detail, and an interest in developing their skills across a variety of projects and industries. This is an opportunity to work on real client projects while gaining hands-on experience in branding, marketing communications, digital content, print, social media, and other creative applications. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. You should be comfortable taking direction, asking questions, contributing ideas, and working independently when needed. This is an in-person position based in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must reside within the Greater Pittsburgh Region. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative concepts and visual materials for client and internal projects
  • Design materials for digital, print, social media, presentations, advertising, and marketing communications
  • Make revisions based on creative direction and client feedback
  • Prepare final artwork and files for digital and print production
  • Maintain consistency with established brand guidelines and visual identities
  • Help organize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and creative technologies
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignStrong understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret creative direction and translate ideas into effective visual solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop professionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, resourceful, and adaptable approach to creative work
