About the role

Overview Senior Java Developer focused on AI-augmented engineering to deliver scalable enterprise apps. You will design and maintain microservices in Java 17+ with Spring, while embedding AI tooling into the SDLC to boost velocity and code quality. You’ll influence architecture, perform code reviews, and automate testing with AI-assisted methods. This role blends hands-on development with AI prompt engineering to solve complex problems and advance the company’s AI-enabled software initiatives. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment to shape high-impact solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and enterprise apps using Java 17+ and Spring Boot Integrate AI coding assistants (Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Gemini) into the SDLC to enhance coding, refactoring, and documentation Formulate and refine advanced prompts for LLMs to produce high-context, secure code outputs Oversee code reviews for human and AI-generated code ensuring design patterns, security, and performance Create and maintain robust unit, integration, and regression tests using AI-assisted approaches Troubleshoot production issues leveraging AI/LLM tools for faster root-cause analysis and performance tuning Pursue continuous learning and share AI prompt libraries with the team Key requirements 5–7 years of enterprise Java development experience Java 11+ (prefer Java 17+)Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPAMicroservices architecture, RESTful design, event-driven patterns Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)CI/CD and Dev Ops with Git, Docker, Kubernetes; automated pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI)AI tooling fluency with Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Gemini; prompt engineering for reliable outputs Security awareness and ability to validate AI-generated logic (OWASP Top 10)Critical thinking, adaptability, collaboration and clear technical communication Preferred: experience building AI plugins/internal developer tools; cloud familiarity (AWS, GCP, Azure); open-source contributions Critical thinking Adaptability Collaboration & communication Java (11+/17+)Spring Boot Spring Cloud
