I am hiring on behalf of a pavement maintenance company seeking a hands-on Field Operations Manager. You’ll work directly with the owner, lead daily field operations and help improve how projects are planned and delivered. Foremen, crew leaders and field supervisors ready for their next step are encouraged to apply. An Operations Manager title isn’t required—relevant leadership experience is. What you’ll take ownership of Crew leadership: Set expectations, assign work, train employees and work alongside the team when needed. Daily execution: Coordinate staffing, schedules, equipment and materials across job sites. Project planning: Support site measurements, estimates and preparation before work begins. Quality and productivity: Monitor workmanship, safety, labor and materials to keep projects on track. Customer communication: Keep customers informed and address concerns professionally. Operational improvements: Help establish practical processes for equipment readiness, job preparation and consistent results. What will help you succeed You bring crew-supervision experience in pavement maintenance, paving, sealcoating, line striping, construction, landscaping, facilities services or a related field. You can organize a busy workday, adjust when plans change and hold a team accountable while earning its respect. You’re comfortable speaking with customers and willing to stay actively involved in outdoor fieldwork. Experience with estimating, scheduling or job-cost tracking is a plus.
