About the role
Maximus Federal is seeking a Cardiologist - Physician Assistant to join our Medical Consultant panel as an Expert Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals.
Role Overview:
Conduct peer reviews to determine whether clinical decisions during specific encounters meet the standard of care. Support quality management initiatives to improve healthcare delivery in VA medical facilities.
Compensation: $50 – $200 per case
Requirements:
- Licensed Physician Assistant with Cardiology with 5+ years of experience
- Actively providing direct patient care 20+ hours/month
- Willingness to work as a 1099 at-will contractor
