About the role
We're partnering with several well-established law firms in the Nashville area to fill multiple Legal Assistant openings. If you're an experienced legal support professional looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Provide administrative and case support to attorneys, including drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court filing schedules Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts (e-filing experience a plus)Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic Coordinate scheduling for depositions, hearings, meetings, and travel Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner Assist with billing, expense reports, and other administrative tasks as needed What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary (litigation experience a plus depending on role)Familiarity with legal terminology, court rules, and filing procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
