About the role

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business invites applications for tenure-track positions at the assistant or associate professor levels in Operations Management for the 2027-28 academic year. Successful candidates will have outstanding research abilities and will be committed to achieving excellence in teaching operations management at the MBA level. We invite applications from those who hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Operations Management, Operations Research, Management Science, or Industrial Engineering or expect to complete the requirements for a PhD in the relevant field(s) by July 1, 2027, or soon thereafter. (We require all tenure track faculty to have a PhD or equivalent. We will appoint those whose degree requirements have not been satisfied by this date as instructors, the expectation being that all PhD requirements will be satisfied soon thereafter, at which time you will be appointed as an assistant professor.)
Salary Range: $210,000 - $240,000 for assistant and $230,000 - $250,000 for associate This position is benefits-eligible.
