About the role

This temporary role may go full time for the right candidate! Rello Search Partners is seeking a long term Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist - HYBRID to assist our client who recently went through an ERP implementation and migration. This position will support high-volume AP operations within a fast-paced healthcare enterprise. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience in a large organization, with a strong understanding of vendor management and 3-way matching requirements.
Responsibilities: Perform full-cycle accounts payable processing, including high-volume invoice entry, 3-way matching (PO, receiving document, invoice), coding, and payment execution. Audit and review invoices for appropriate documentation, approvals, and compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Reconcile complex vendor statements, resolve account discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Assist with vendor onboarding, W-9 verification, and annual 1099 processing. Participate in month-end AP close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting. Support ongoing or upcoming ERP system enhancements, data testing, and migration efforts as needed. Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and department heads to resolve purchase order or receiving exceptions promptly.
Qualifications: Associates degree desired 3+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience in a high volume and large company environment; Workday Financials experience highly desired Prior experience assisting with ERP implementations, system transitions, or user acceptance testing (UAT) highly desired Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and electronic document management systems Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
