Job Summary: The Lot Attendant / Porter at Mercedes-Benz of Rochester is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the dealership's inventory and lot organization. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the lot is clean, organized, and presentable to customers. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Compensation & Benefits: This is a Full Time - hourly position in the Auto industry with a pay rate of $15 per hour. The compensation will be paid weekly. In addition, the employee will have access to health benefits and employee discounts on vehicles and services.
Responsibilities: -Transport vehicles between service drive, shop and parking lot -Wash and vacuum customer vehicles after service -Basic lot maintenance (snow removal, trash pickup, etc.) -Empty trash, some building cleaning -Other job duties may arise based on needs of the business Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience working in a dealership or similar automotive role preferred Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Detail-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness Basic computer skills preferred for record-keeping purposes EEOC statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
