About the role

Working remotely, the full-time hourly Senior Credit Disputes Specialist will manage credit dispute functions, ensuring accurate reporting to credit bureaus and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities: Handle credit dispute functions, utilizing company resources to investigate account information and ensure accurate credit reporting Act as a liaison between consumer reporting agencies and Upstart, resolving credit bureau-related issues and assisting with customer inquiries Ensure compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) while maintaining service levels and updating account statuses as necessary Required qualifications 1-2 years of experience in credit bureau reporting at a financial institution In-depth knowledge of credit dispute resolution and familiarity with credit reporting agencies Experience working with e-Oscar and understanding of the Metro 2 format Strong understanding of key credit reporting laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) High School Diploma and/or GED or relevant equivalent experience
