About the role
Job Description:
The Sanitation Technician supports a food manufacturing plant by maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary production areas and equipment. This role works rotating shifts, including overnight production shutdowns, reports to the Sanitation Manager and Facilities Manager, and requires no travel.
Schedule
Shift: 6 days a week. Time: 9pm - 6:30am
Pay: $20/hour (Paid weekly!)
Responsibilities:
Sanitize and disinfect work areas using approved industrial-grade cleaning chemicals. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble food processing equipment. Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow applicable sanitation procedures. Sweep, mop, and maintain production floors and other facility areas. Ensure proper disposal of waste along the assembly line. Maintain accurate cleaning and sanitation records. Follow company safety and sanitation procedures and applicable regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food manufacturing or industrial setting. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Understanding of chemical safety and GMP compliance. Experience operating sanitation equipment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nCompany
