Full-Time Our client, a well-established machining and manufacturing company in Rock Hill, SC, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and wants to become a long-term contributor to a stable and growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Prepare and post journal entries Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Process customer invoices and monitor collections Assist with payroll processing and reporting Generate financial reports for ownership and management Work closely with operations and leadership to support business needs Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience in a manufacturing, machining, industrial, or production environment preferred Strong understanding of AP, AR, account reconciliations, and general bookkeeping principles Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle confidential financial information Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
