About the role
- Own the multi-year go to market strategy and portfolio direction in partnership with senior leaders, including strategic pillars and annual priorities.
- Define solution and product go to market strategy by clarifying target customers, core use cases, value proposition, packaging, and commercialization requirements and maintain a market and competitive point of view to inform positioning, sequencing, and roadmap inputs.
- Build business cases for strategic initiatives, including revenue impact, cost to serve, delivery complexity, and risk and controls considerations.
- Own end-to-end launch planning and operating cadence, aligning product, marketing, sales, operations, servicing, controls, legal, risk and compliance, data and analytics, and technology on scope, timing, and success metrics.
- Establish and run governance including intake, prioritization, stage gates, readiness reviews, decision logs, and escalation paths.
- Build and maintain a standardized go to market toolkit, including templates, checklists, roles and responsibilities, launch scorecards, communications, and training materials.
- Partner with product and sales to develop positioning, narratives, and enablement materials to ensure field readiness and consistent client delivery.
- Drive launch readiness across customer and operational journeys, ensuring process clarity, training, tooling, and support models are in place.
- Manage cross-portfolio dependencies across data, platforms, partner integrations, creative, controls approvals, and servicing tooling, removing blockers and accelerating decisions.
- Partner with data and analytics to define measurement frameworks and test and learn plans, and translate insights into iteration. Own closed-loop feedback from go to market performance into product strategy, including win and loss insights and client feedback.
- Lead cross-functional issue management for launches, including risk triage, incident response, post-mortems, and continuous improvement, Lead and develop a team, setting high standards for strategic thinking, operational rigor, stakeholder management, and outcomes.
- Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ten or more years of experience in product strategy, go to market strategy, transformation, program leadership, management consulting, or related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to shape solution strategy with product and sales partners and translate it into executable launch plans.
- Strong operating model skills including planning, prioritization, governance, dependency management, executive reporting, and decision facilitation.
- Proven go to market leadership including launch planning, readiness, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch performance management.
- Exceptional structured thinking and communication skills, including ability to synthesize inputs into clear narratives, tradeoffs, and actions.
- Strong judgment and accountability, including proactive risk identification and issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in connected commerce, digital offers, loyalty, retail ecommerce, advertising or merchant-funded programs, advertising technology, or related domains.
- Experience partnering with risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams in regulated environments.
- People leadership experience, including building high-performing teams.
