About the role

Key Responsibilities: Manages senior ANG aviation exercise Action Officers (AO) who collect, review and determine worldwide exercise requirements for ANG participation, attends exercise planning conferences, and organizes ANG aviation support to, and participation in, selected exercises. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance on exercise processes and procedures to ensure selected exercises meet and support ANG aviation training, combat readiness, and Building Partnership Capacity BPC objectives. Serves as the ANG established aviation exercise point of contact with States, Coalition Partners, Joint & Service staffs, NAFs, wings, foreign nationals & civic leaders on Combatant Command (COCOM), National Exercise Program (NEP), DoD Chairman's Exercise Program (CEP), Joint Exercise Program (JEP) and Service Exercises. Functions as the Office Conducting Exercise (OCE) in the management planning, and facilitation of internal ANG exercises as well as staff members assigned to direct ANG exercise actions and chairs the ANG Aviation Exercise Participation Working Group.
