About the role

Mb Staffing Services is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Human Resources & Recruiting Assistant to support the HR operations of an established organization in Washington, DC.The ideal candidate will have strong HR administrative skills, recruiting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential employee information in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with employee onboarding and new-hire documentation. Maintain electronic personnel records using Paychex. Support weekly payroll preparation and documentation. Coordinate interview scheduling and recruitment activities. Assist with employee benefits administration and HR correspondence. Organize, scan, and maintain confidential HR records. Support HR compliance initiatives and special projects. Provide administrative support to leadership.
Required Qualifications: Previous administrative support experience; HR experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
