About the Role:
Okamoto Orthodontics in Costa Mesa, CA is looking for a friendly and organized Orthodontic Front Office team member to be the welcoming face of our practice! Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming front office experience Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the orthodontic treatment calendar efficiently Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and follow up with patients and families Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and insurance information Verify dental/orthodontic insurance benefits and assist with billing and claims Maintain accurate patient records and update information in practice management software Coordinate new patient consultations and assist with treatment plan presentations
Requirements:
Previous dental or orthodontic front office experience preferred Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dolphin, Dentrix, or similar)Strong knowledge of dental or orthodontic insurance verification and billing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, reliable, and a positive team player Bilingual skills a plus but not required
