About the role
- Provide effective guidance to staff and management
- Maintain benefits programs, employee enrollment, and vendor relationships
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations across 30 states
- Oversee talent acquisition
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Manage HR related systems (HRIS, ATS, Performance Management, Benefits, etc.) and implement upgrades and enhancements
- Create consistency in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee communications
- Manage required reporting including EEOC, ACA, Vets-4212, pay data, etc. Develop compensation strategies to stay competitive in the market
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related area 10 years of human resources experience
- Experience leading a team or department
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
- Multi-state experience
- Extensive experience using UKGAbility to operate with discretion and sound judgment in complex and sensitive situations
- Experience with government contracting
- Microsoft Business Central
- ClearCoHR certification
