About the role
- Complete a pre-flight forklift inspection
- Read work orders and follow oral instructions to verify materials or containers to be moved/delivered
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and by forklift
- Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area
- Operate industrial fork truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and product
- Move product going to the customer
- Empty chip bins and trash containers as needed
- Must be able to operate 40-ton forklift
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be a certified forklift operator
- Must be able to follow safety guidelines/rules and employ safe working habits
- Working hours are 6 p.m. - 4:30 a.m.
