This role includes managing the accounts payable team, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and driving process improvements to boost efficiency.RESPONSIBILITIESApprove and review invoices for payment, ensuring they are verified and reconciled with purchase orders and receiving reports, and address any discrepancies.Oversee payment scheduling and execution to vendors via electronic transfers, checks, and ACH.Manage cash flow to ensure on-time payments while optimizing reserves.Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, including overseeing training, performance reviews, and career development.Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.Prepare and present accounts payable reports for management.Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and promote best practices and automation.Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of AP experience, 3+ years in a supervisory roleBachelor's degree preferredExperience with Microsoft Excel required, Concur preferredSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and ManagementIndustriesManufacturingMedical insuranceVision insuranceGet notified about new Accounts Payable Manager jobs in Phoenix, AZ.
