About the role

Operations Lead (Contract)I'm partnering with a leading life sciences organization seeking an Operations Lead to support congresses, HCP meetings, and internal meeting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in meeting coordination, event operations, vendor management, budgeting, and reporting within a regulated environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting meeting operations, congress management, event planning, project coordination, or procurement
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience tracking budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor activities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate meeting intake, timelines, registration, attendee tracking, and event logistics
  • Support budgets, purchase orders, invoices, payments, and vendor management activities
  • Maintain meeting documentation, reporting, dashboards, and closeout records
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful meeting execution
  • Track deliverables, identify process improvements, and support operational excellence initiatives
  • Provide support for speaker programs, HCP engagement activities, and related operational workflows Preferred
  • Experience with Cvent, SpotMe, Power BI, Power Apps, or Veeva Vault
  • Background supporting congresses, advisory boards, or HCP events
