Developer - Solar, Storage, and Energy Parks Location: Remote - US About Ecoplexus Ecoplexus Inc. (www.ecoplexus.com) is a leading renewables developer, owner, and operator with end-to-end execution capabilities. Including all phases of development, financing, EPC, O&M, and asset management. The company focuses on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects as well as multi-technology energy parks in the 200 MW to 500 MW range in the U.S. We’ve successfully developed 90 projects in the US from greenfield site selection to commercial operation. The Company currently has a large advanced stage pipeline of projects which require completion in 2027 and beyond. The successful candidate will report to the Development Manager and will support the development team with originating and evaluating new renewable energy project opportunities, as well as supporting project analysis, development, due diligence and permitting. The successful candidate will work on a cross-functional team with origination, legal, finance, engineering, construction, outside consultants, landowners, customers, stakeholders and utility companies. The role requires attention-to-detail, project management knowledge and renewable energy experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist with all aspects of development for projects from site control through to construction commencement Develop and manage project development schedules and budgets Participate in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders Review contract obligations in key project documents Work with the Real Estate team to secure control of project sites Assist Permitting team including permitting strategy and tracking permitting efforts Coordinate for delivery of site and environmental studies, surveys and diligence reports Work with the Interconnection team to manage the interconnection process Work with the Origination team to secure revenue contracts for projects in development Work with internal and external Engineering teams as they advance engineering and design Work with our internal Construction Management team on the contractor selection process Coordinate with the Construction Management team to secure ministerial permits Hand off fully developed and permitted projects to the Construction Management team Skills and Qualifications: 2-3 years relevant experience Undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Engineering, Project Management, Energy, Environmental Studies, Law or Business. Strong computer and analytical skills Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Experience in and passion for renewable energy technologies Self-starter, very self-reliant and capable of operating with minimum supervision Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Able to work supportively and collaboratively with other teams Comfortable coordinating across functional teams Ability to identify key priorities among various requests Ecoplexus offers a competitive salary, strong bonus structures, and a benefits program.
