Brief Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support and assistance to Public Works office and staff functions and other related work as requested. Acts as front desk, counter clerk or receptionist, answering routine to complex inquiries of the public and giving out forms and documents and referring callers to proper sources. Position performs administrative, auditing and accounting duties for Public Works. Working Environment/Physical Abilities:
Work involves both indoor work and outdoor work in varying types of weather throughout the year. Lifting up to 10 pounds may be required. There will be sitting and standing for extended time during work hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum high school or GED graduate. Three (3) years of experience, or a combination of experience, education and training which would demonstrate the level of knowledge and ability required.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess valid driver's license. Basic spelling and arithmetic skills required. SELECTION IS BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND CHECK, DRIVING RECORD CHECK, AND ORAL INTERVIEWS.
