A minimum average of 30+ hours per week is offered and expected on a year-round basis with flexible scheduling.Responsibilities:As a Service Technician II at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you will be responsible for performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, supporting the IT infrastructure, and assisting with hardware and software management. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining system functionality and providing exceptional support across the organization.How You Will Do It:Under minimal direction, monitors service desk communication channels. Responds and records service requests and incidents in the ticketing system. Updates tickets with appropriate information throughout the ticket lifecycle.Conduct daily status checks on systems such as UPS, servers, firewalls, and network switches; promptly report any issues to the Information Systems Leadership or relevant support teams.Assist in the administration and maintenance of a Windows 10 environment, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.Provide courteous and timely responses to incoming support requests via phone and other channels.Diagnose and resolve issues with computers, telephones, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other hardware.Perform hardware and software installations on Windows-based PCs.Use service desk software to log, monitor, and close IT service requests, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient tracking.Support the administration and maintenance of phone and voicemail systems.Adhere to established departmental and organizational standard operating procedures and policies.Acts as a technical liaison between IT and guests and other associates. Always acts in a professional and respectful manner.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Information Systems Leadership team.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age.Available to work weekends (Sat-Sun) along with select weekdays.Valid driver's license required.CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.About 2 years of IT experience in a related field is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college coursework is preferred.Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Proven ability to learn and support new hardware and software applications quickly.Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Knowledge of commonly used operating systems and software applications is preferred.Available to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
