JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Fiscal Planning Department Decision Support (DS) Team, providing data-driven financial analysis and cost accounting support to advance organizational performance. This role develops and delivers meaningful insights through ad hoc and recurring reporting, service line profitability analyses, and pro forma development for new products and services. This work is used in making financial, operational, and strategic decisions across the health system.
Responsibilities: Perform system maintenance and reconciliations between DS and source systems Create standard templates in DS system and reporting criteria for uniform report delivery Create and maintain dashboards of determined KPIsPerform ad hoc reporting as requested Research abnormal findings in data and address issues within Decision Support (DS) and E HR systems Develop pro formas for new products and services Oversee coordination and submission of Joint Annual Report Handle submissions of HSDA equipment registry and related data for State of TNPrepare annual AHA surveys Serve as liaison and source of finance-related knowledge for all levels of management across hospital system
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or related field Required
