About the role
As a Logistics Coordinator at Tech Cargo, you will play a vital role in the successful operations of your assigned clients. You will be responsible for managing the entire logistics process from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire shipment lifecycle:
- Schedule, dispatch, plan, track, and trace shipments.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes and analysis, and monitor carrier quality standards.
- Identify and resolve potential shipping delays or issues, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service:
- Communicate effectively with clients and carriers to schedule shipment activities.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery to all parties.
- Manage documentation and compliance:
- Prepare and review all necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments, ensuring accuracy.
- Track and resolve shipping errors.
- Receive and review bills.
- Create and send invoices to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry laws, regulations, and requirements.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
Strong understanding of international trade and logistics principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Magaya is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service focus with a problem-solving mindset.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team.
Fluent in Spanish and English
