About the role
The City of Cortez, CO is seeking a Code Compliance Inspector to uphold property maintenance, municipal, and land use codes. This full-time, onsite position runs Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) and collaborates closely with the Cortez Police Department and community members. The role involves field visits, documenting cases, issuing notices, and communicating next steps to residents, merchants, and contractors while utilizing GIS and database systems for case management.
