We are world-class.Shift: Monday - Friday: 7:00AM - 3:30PMPay: $25.00-$30.00/hourResponsibilities:Leads, manages and holds accountable all direct reportsMonitors efficiency and productivity to ensure expectations are met or exceededProvides training on equipmentProvides hands-on trouble shooting assistanceCommunicates the daily schedule to the production teamConducts regular coaching (formal and JIT)Meets or exceeds department KPI'sSafety, Quality, Efficiency, 5SFacilitates continuous improvement processes to create efficiency and reduce costsEffectively utilizes MRP software for planning and schedulingSets up jobs in accordance with departmental needs to ensure maximum efficiency and qualityLimits job write offs with regards to material and equipment usageEnsures that all materials are available and ready for fabrication at the machine locationPerforms first-piece inspection for all new fabrication runs, when necessaryEnsures that dies are maintained and stored properly; moves dies between equipment and die racksEnsures that preventative maintenance is current and performs maintenance functions as necessaryInvolvement throughout the shop as a resource for others, providing guidance and directionEnforces safety policies and practices to ensure culture of health and safety; identifies safety hazards and works with management team on corrective actions
