About the role

Our client, a financial services firm, is hiring a Digital Media Associate / Specialist to join their NYC office. This is a hands-on role focused on publishing, distributing, and amplifying content across the firm’s website and digital channels. The ideal candidate has experience turning long-form content—including white papers, podcasts, and press releases—into engaging, platform-specific materials. This person will work closely with communications, investment, and compliance teams to ensure content reaches the right audiences accurately and effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Publish and manage content across the firm’s website and social media channels, including Linked In, X, You Tube, and podcast platforms. Develop distribution plans and adapt long-form materials into short video clips, graphics, and social copy. Manage the content calendar and coordinate publishing schedules across teams. Plan and execute paid digital campaigns, including budget preparation and coordination with media partners. Track website and social media performance, prepare reporting, and recommend ways to improve engagement. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on digital publishing, design, and video projects. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to obtain approval of public-facing content before distribution.
Qualifications: Candidates should have five years of experience in digital media, content distribution, social media management, marketing, or a related communications role. Strong writing and editing skills, hands-on experience with content management systems, and a solid understanding of platform-specific publishing and campaign execution are essential. Experience in financial services, asset management, or another regulated industry is preferred, along with familiarity with SEO, AEO, and web analytics. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple deadlines, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
