About the role
Painter Clean and prepare machined castings for paint and apply required coatings to meet specifications and product quality in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Ability to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed).Ability to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of 1 hour).Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English and follow written and oral instructions. Read small print, with/without corrective lenses. Learn safe and proper operations of machine shop equipment, including driving forklifts. Maintain a safe and organized work area at all times. Comply with all company policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Work overtime as required.

Experience & Skills:
Ability to clean, prepare, and apply coatings to machined castings, along with a willingness to learn machine shop equipment and forklift operation.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting 50+ pounds, reading small print (with or without corrective lenses), and working in standing, bending, or squatting positions for long periods.
