Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Electric Motor Mechanic/Winder role based in Pennsauken Township, NJ. The Electric Motor Mechanic/Winder is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, troubleshooting, and rebuilding electric motors, including cleaning, testing components, and replacing parts as needed. Daily tasks include winding and rewinding stators, insulating coils, performing basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and using hand and power tools, test instruments, and shop equipment safely. The role involves maintaining accurate repair records, interpreting technical drawings or schematics, and following established procedures and quality standards. The Electric Motor Mechanic/Winder also assists with shop organization, routine equipment maintenance, and occasionally supports customer inquiries or coordination related to repair timelines and technical findings.
Qualifications: Motor and equipment maintenance skills, including experience with general Maintenance & Repair competencies. Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with internal teams and clients about repair status, findings, and recommended solutions. Experience or training in electric motor repair, rewinding, or industrial maintenance (apprenticeship or vocational/technical school preferred).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and electrical test equipment in a shop environment. xhqgsiq Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and quality standards. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move components as required, and work in a shop setting with appropriate PPE.
