AI Technical LeadLocation: Lake Forest, IL - HybridKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical design and architecture of agentic AI solutions, from discovery and prototyping through build, testing, and production deploymentDefine and validate solution architectures that use Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning Studio, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related Azure servicesDesign and implement agent orchestration patterns, including tool use, multi-agent workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems such as CRM platformsEstablish and enforce AI security controls, including authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and data access boundariesImplement observability, monitoring, and logging practices for AI solutions in production, including tracing, cost and performance tracking, and incident responseDevelop evaluation frameworks for retrieval and generation quality, including groundedness, accuracy, relevance, and safety metricsExtend and integrate Microsoft Copilot capabilities to support business use cases where appropriatePartner with business stakeholders, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams to align AI solutions with enterprise standards and business objectivesIdentify technical and delivery risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive mitigation strategiesPresent solution designs, status updates, risks, and recommendations to senior business and IT leadershipEstablish repeatable design patterns, standards, and best practices for future AI initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceExpertise in enterprise software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership rolesDemonstrated ownership of the technical design of agentic AI initiatives delivered into production environmentsStrong hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, especially Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML Studio, AKS, etc.)Experience with Microsoft Copilot, including extending or integrating Copilot capabilitiesStrong grasp of core AI concepts, including: Agent orchestration and workflow designObservability and monitoring of AI systemsAuthorization, entitlement, and secure data accessRetrieval-augmented generation (RAG) design and evaluationModel and output evaluation, quality measurement, and responsible AI practicesExcellent business communication skills, with experience leading conversations with senior business and IT leadershipAbility to explain technical concepts and risks clearly to non-technical audiencesPreferred SkillsExperience with Dynamics CRM, including integration with AI-driven solutionsExperience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Dynamics 365 integrations via APIsExperience implementing AI solutions in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with AI governance, compliance, and risk management frameworksBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
