About the role
Loan Closer The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing all closing documents on real estate loans, home equity and modifications in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations. The Loan Closer types accurate closing documents, submits closing fees to the title agency, reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs, prepares coupon books, and funding wires/checks. Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar. Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file. Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup. Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner. Complete all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements:
High School Graduate Experience in Residential Loan Closing within the last 3-5 years The successful candidate must be proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of integrity and accuracy. Excellent problem solving and customer service skills required. The candidate must actively support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures. It is essential that our applicants be dynamic, sociable, and enthusiastic team players; while possessing a positive can-do, vibrant attitude, excellent judgment and communication skills.
