Custom Millwork Engineer (27160)

Position Summary: The Engineer is responsible for translating architectural drawings and specifications into engineered solutions and production-ready documentation for custom cabinetry and millwork. This role ensures accurate interpretation of design intent, efficient material usage, and manufacturability.

Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in engineering within the commercial millwork or casework industry. Experience with Innergy or similar cabinetry engineering platforms strongly preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD or other engineering/drafting software required. Knowledge of cabinet construction methods, materials, and architectural detailing. Strong understanding of AWI, ADA, and industry-specific standards. Ability to problem-solve, collaborate with multiple departments, and manage deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in an office and manufacturing environment. Occasional visits to production or job sites may be required.
