About the Role: Quality Assurance Engineering Manager role leading a team of quality engineers, shaping how a department runs, and making decisions that impact the business on a daily basis.
Responsibilities: Lead and develop a team of quality engineers; accountable for the outcomes of the team's work, and mentoring talent. Set the department's priorities, processes, and procedures in alignment with business objectives. Lead internal and external audits and drive QMS compliance. Tackle complex quality problems using quality tools, requiring analysis and judgment, selecting methods, evaluating variables, and contributing to improved decision making for the organization. Drive cultural change and build cross-functional networks for embedding a positive quality ethos across the organization.
Qualifications: Bachelor's in a technical discipline plus 7+ years of related experience.2+ years demonstrated leadership of direct reports, mentoring people to achieve challenging goals. Strong engineering foundations, including structured problem-solving, and the ability to identify and resolve technical and organizational problems. A track record of producing high-quality work that measurably impacts the business. QMS expertise applied in complex manufacturing environments; control plans, FMEA, and the tools of the trade. Significant ISO 13485 or other highly regulated manufacturing environment experience. Pay range and compensation: $130,000-150,000 base salary, plus bonus and a strong benefits plan.
