Title: Lead Business Analyst (W2 Only)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire Client Location: Saint Petersburg, FL Description:
Lead Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, with strong expertise in Wealth Management / Asset Management. Strong Wealth Management domain expertise with the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across portfolio management, investment research, trading, and wealth solutions. Hands-on experience with Portfolio Management, Portfolio Rebalancing, Advisory/AMS, Discretionary & Non-Discretionary investment offerings. Strong knowledge of investment products including Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, SMA, UMA, and related trading workflows. Combination of Functional + Technical Business Analysis skills, partnering closely with Product, UI/UX, Developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders. Strong experience in requirements gathering, BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, data mapping, and functional documentation. Hands-on SQL and data analysis experience, including querying databases to research data, troubleshoot issues, and support business decisions; JSON/API/Postman knowledge is a plus. Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog management, story prioritization, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives, UAT, and implementation support. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and drive cross-functional collaboration.
