About the role

Partnering with ARPA-H leadership, the full-time Senior Scientist in Bioengineering will provide technical expertise and program management support for transformative health research initiatives focused on human physiology systems, organ preservation, and transplantation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical and strategic support for programs involving tissue and organoid manufacturing and transplantation technologies Evaluate emerging technologies for scientific merit and potential clinical adoption Conduct technology landscape assessments and competitive analyses to inform decision-making
Required Qualifications: PhD in physiology, bioengineering, or a related field; or MD with significant transplantation experience Demonstrated expertise in organ preservation, transplant biology, or regenerative medicine Ability to critically evaluate technical data and research plans Experience synthesizing complex scientific information for technical and leadership audiences Ability to obtain a federal government Public Trust clearance
