Pyrometry Calibration Technician Cypress, CA | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $25– $33/hour Ready to Take Your Calibration Skills Further? Join Micro Quality Calibration (MQC) and gain hands-on experience with AMS2750, aerospace pyrometry, TUS, and SAT while working directly with customers throughout Southern California. About MQC Founded in 1978, Micro Quality Calibration (MQC) is an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited calibration, testing, and repair laboratory serving the aerospace, defense, medical, and other critical industries. What You’ll Do: Perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS), System Accuracy Tests (SAT), and instrument calibrations at customer sites. Calibrate thermocouples, furnace/oven controllers, recorders, data loggers, SAT instruments, and pressure/vacuum gauges. Apply AMS2750 and aerospace pyrometry requirements. Prepare thermocouples, survey racks, and process sensors. Troubleshoot furnace control systems and apply correction factors. Prepare accurate calibration reports and certificates. Maintain NIST traceability and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 standards. Provide professional, knowledgeable service to customers.
What We're Looking For: Calibration training and/or hands-on calibration experience. Experience with precision measurement equipment. Strong computer and customer service skills. Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance. Ability to travel approximately 20–80 miles throughout Southern California.
Preferred: PMEL, TMDE, DOD, ISO/IEC 17025, AMS2750, or aerospace pyrometry experience.
