Senior Architect Techstaff currently has an exceptional opportunity for a senior Architect experienced in large-scale hospitality projects.
Duties include: Working with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production. Managing all phases of the design process. Innovative thinking, along with the ability to present real-world solutions to new design challenges. Assisting in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination. Thriving with personal responsibility and accountability, but embodying and embracing open communication and team-oriented success. Possessing professional poise and polish, and demonstrating versatile approaches to myriad issues and personality types. Being a leader among peers, and mentoring to others.
Desired qualifications include: Bachelors' Degree in Architecture. 10+ years of experience in large-scale hospitality (hotels, resorts, casinos, etc.) projects. Strong skills in programming, planning and architectural design. Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team. Proficiency in the use of 3D software, including Revit, 3D Studio MAX and Sketchup. Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
