About the role

Overview In this role you will build and scale a web platform for insurance professionals, spanning frontend UX and backend services. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver a responsive, accessible experience and robust APIs. You’ll shape the platform from user interaction to data processing, emphasizing performance, security, and maintainability. This is a design-token–driven, component-led role with a clear impact on product quality and speed to market. Compensation / Benefitsannual incentive bonuscountry-specific benefitsequal opportunity employer Responsibilities Develop responsive frontend UIs (React, Type Script, Tailwind) with multi-step upload workflows, drag-and-drop, validation, progress tracking, and error handling Build and maintain a shared, branded component library aligned with design tokens Connect frontend with GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and mutations Display and manage job status and results with filtering, sorting, and export capabilities Design and implement GraphQL schemas and resolvers for authentication, uploads, job tracking, and results retrieval Integrate frontend with backend processing services via webhooks or polling; implement retries and idempotency Validate and sanitize uploaded files; manage storage and lifecycle Emit domain events and telemetry for observability Ensure secure authentication/authorization (OAuth/JWT, RBAC); secure file handling and input validation Develop automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end); contribute to CI/CD, linting, and quality standards Create documentation for system setup, operations, and component usage Support accessibility (WCAG AA) and performance requirements Key requirements Bachelor's degree and 5–6 years of experience Proven experience with React and Type Script, including component composition and state management (e.g., React Query)Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and design systems; building reusable branded UI components Experience developing backend services using Java (Spring) and GraphQL APIsHands-on testing experience: Jest and Playwright Familiarity with Git/Git Hub workflows and CI/CD practices Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to independently plan work, manage milestones, and deliver resultscollaboration with cross-functional teamsclear communication and documentationinitiative and self-management React Type Script Tailwind CSS
