Broward Center for the Performing Arts is currently recruiting creative and dynamic Teaching Artists interested in being part of our education programs. Our Teaching Artists work with students of all ages and abilities across a variety of genres and enjoy opportunities for professional development as they explore best practices and gain new skills.
The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is currently recruiting creative and dynamic Teaching Artists to join our roster. Our Teaching Artists work with students across various programs, including:
On-site skills-building classes for students and adults (i.e. Broadway Dance, Musical Theater Singing, Improv, etc.)
SEAS Plus/SEAS From a Distance Workshops (Student Enrichment Through the Arts)
Turnaround Arts School Residencies (Arts Integration)
Community and school partnership programs (Elder Arts, Civics Through the Arts, etc.)
Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis.
NEW – The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and The Performance Project School of the Arts are seeking musical theater teaching artists for Summer Theater Camp at 3 locations; Broward Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Nova Southwestern University in Davie, and Aventura Arts and Cultural Center in Aventura. Each camp location is 8 weeks long from 9 AM to 4 PM. Applicants should have a willingness to be placed at any of the 3 locations. All positions range from $600 to $850 per week based on education & experience.
