Job Title: Project Controls –Lead
Location: Charlotte, NCJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls –Lead to support large-scale gas generation projects. This role is responsible for leading regulatory reporting, compliance activities, audits, and executive reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely project information.
Key Responsibilities: Lead regulatory reporting, compliance, and audit activities. Review and analyze project cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and change management data. Prepare executive reports, regulatory filings, and business presentations. Coordinate with engineering, construction, finance, procurement, legal, and project controls teams. Support regulatory audits, prudency reviews, and information requests. Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.15+ years of experience in Project Controls on large EPC or utility projects. Strong experience with cost management, scheduling, forecasting, EVM, risk management, and change management. Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with utility, power generation, natural gas, or energy projects. Experience supporting regulatory filings, rate cases, audits, or prudency reviews. Knowledge of Primavera P6 and EcoSys. PMP, PMI, AACE, CCP, PSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
