Job Description: Shipping & Receiving Associate – Manufacturing
Location: Conroe, TX 77302
Pay: $16–$18 per hour We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a manufacturing facility in Conroe, TX. This position is split approximately 50/50 between shipping and receiving duties and hands-on production supporting oil and grease manufacturing. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or distribution environment, along with forklift experience and basic computer skills.
Job Responsibilities: Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials using a forklift. Receive, inspect, organize, and track inventory. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Prepare shipments, including coordinating LTL freight and bulk shipments. Fill, package, label, and prepare oil and grease products for shipment. Assist with blending, batching, and other production activities as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures for handling materials and chemicals.
Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing, chemical, or distribution. Forklift experience required. Valid driver’s license. Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or inventory management systems. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform both warehouse and hands-on production duties.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling lubricants, oils, greases, or chemicals. Experience with bulk tank shipments and LTL freight. Exposure to blending, batching, or chemical production. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
