The Opportunity:
As Senior Estimator, you'll play a critical role in driving our growth by leading the full estimating process — from early-stage conceptual budgets through final bid submissions. You'll work closely with project managers, field crews, and clients to ensure every proposal is accurate, competitive, and positions Advanced Landscape 2000 to win.
Responsibilities:
- Study and analyze civil, architectural, and landscape blueprints and specifications
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate competitive pricing
- Prepare estimates at all levels of design completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD)
- Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
- Lead RFP responses and prepare and submit bid proposals
- Identify technical issues and project logistics early in the process
- Negotiate with new and existing clients
- Collaborate with project managers for seamless project handoff
What We're Looking For:
- Solid background in the landscape industry (commercial/public sector required; construction or civil a plus)
- Experience estimating across all project phases
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
- Advanced computer skills, including estimating software
